Ms. Shantz students were busy decorating cupcakes in their Foods class when I stopped by today. They looked like they were really enjoying the activity.

Our metal shop now has a new saw.... happiness for the students!

Rugby 7s

Our junior rugby team joined forces with Pender Harbour and had some rugby 7s fun. Thanks to coaches Brian Scarr and Drew Murphy for working with the team.  They attended a successful mini-tournament in Vancouver last week.  Well done!

Spring is Here

The Sunshine Coast is a beautiful place and when spring comes the beautiful blooms burst their colours. It is now that time of year.

Nurturing the Learning Spirit

We had a short canoe journey with our several of our Aboriginal students yesterday.  We went from the Lighthouse boat launch to Porpoise Bay Provincial Park.  It was a really positive experience and our students provided a lot of good feedback.

I hope that everyone has a great long weekend.

Busy Time of Year/Grad Fashion Show

I want to apologize for not doing a great job keeping up my blog per usual.  It has been an extremely busy time of year organizing the timetable for next year and the hours for other things seems to have diminished.

It is a beautiful weekend here on the Sunshine Coast and after cleaning out my e-mail mailbox I wanted to post a short entry before getting some sunshine.

We do have the Grad Fashion Show at CSS this evening starting at 7:00 pm. Tickets are available at the door. All funds generated will go towards the grad class of 2014.  Thanks for all who are supporting this event.

Have a great weekend everyone!

All the best,

Mr. H
