Lunch Time Fun

With the ongoing labour issues I continue to provide gym supervision at lunch time. The students are great and I am seeing a lot of positive things happening in their games.

As you are probably aware, tomorrow the provincial rotating strike hits SD 46; therefore, our schools will not be open. FYI  Mr. Biel and I will be here for the day. Classes resume on Friday.

I am hopeful that a resolution can be found expeditiously.

Have a good evening.

CSS Ultimate Team Off to Provincials

Congratulations to the Chatelech Junior Ultimate Team for their excellent efforts at the North Shore Zone Finals this past Friday. Chat was rated #1 going into the tournament - and the competition was fierce. The team played very well- with 5 back to back games without a significant break.

When all was said and done, Chatelech lost to Sutherland by one point and took 2nd place in the zone. Our team played with skill and sportsmanship - and will advance to the tier 1 Provincial Championships in 2 weeks. This is the first time a team from Chatelech has qualified for the tier 1 championships - and they will compete against the best teams in the Province.

Thanks to Mr. Mani for coaching our team-- Bravo!
